Patio COAR
2025
This is an interactive installation that invites free and imaginative play. It creates a living, ever-changing environment where visitors can build, explore, invent — or simply observe.
The scene is composed of natural, unstructured materials like pine cones, soil, and sticks, loosely arranged into playful, temporary formations. Nestled within an urban space and gently enclosed by translucent curtains, the installation encourages a slower, more tactile kind of interaction. A graphic ‘manual’ is included — an ironic nod to the idea that today, even playing in nature might require instructions.
The project reflects on the essence of childhood play — often shaped today by plastic toys and overstimulation — and opens up questions about freedom, imagination, and the culture of overconsumption in our everyday lives.
