Exhibitions
The exhibition and activities broaden the focus to new international contexts, such as Czech architect Martin Rajniš, who is exhibiting his work specialising in wood constructions, and Migrant Garden, a reflection on the processes of migration through small architectures, among others.
The final part of the programme is the participation of the La Rioja School of Design, the associate school of the festival, which includes the exhibition I’m design, and the exhibition Concéntrico 04 Competitions, an exhibition displaying the proposals presented as part of the Concéntrico 04 competitions.
Migrant Garden. Untouchable Landscapes
What if we force to leave your place? Something you call home. Which are going to be the consequences and the shapes of a new kind of domesticity?
The non-profit project Migrant Garden. Untouchable Landscapes starts from these premises and asks to 40 world-famous architects and intellectuals to formulate the new domestic paradigm of the home today. Designers are asked to work on a 24x24x24 kit-model in AcellTech material and interpret the nomadic contemporary living condition. The result is a bird-nest forest in which architects coming from different countries, cultures, generations are set together as an abacus in search of answers.
