The cycle of short films about innovation and trends in contemporary architecture is incorporated into the festival programme with the screening of “Landskating”, directed by Kike Barberá and scripted by the architects Sergi Carulla and Oscar Blasco. They will be participating in a colloquium after the short film is broadcasted.

An old skating area, a forgotten garden under bridges and the reconstruction of a skate track in a working-class neighbourhood are the scenarios in which the documentary “Landskating” takes place. The parallel narrative of the construction processes of three new public spaces in the city of Barcelona explains how previously marginal territories are inserted in the urban fabric respecting the place, its memory, its people and its daily life. Sergi Carulla and Oscar Blasco, architects and landscapers trained in Barcelona, are the writers of the documentary and authors of the works narrated in the short film. In 2005 they founded the architecture and landscape scob studio, from which they develop projects in which they combine both disciplines.
