Nervaduras y conos

matali crasset + Taller enBlanco

Educational programme

Nervaduras y Conos is a project designed by Matali Crasset and developed by Taller enBlanco, in collaboration with the Concéntrico Festival, aimed at primary schools that want to develop it in the 5th and/or 6th grades and secondary schools in the 1st and 2nd years of ESO.

The project aims to encourage creativity, spatial understanding and teamwork in primary and secondary school students. Through the manipulation of simple geometric shapes such as cones and ribs, students will create complex structures, applying design concepts inspired by nature.

The course promotes a collaborative methodology that connects art with other disciplines such as mathematics, biology and technology, stimulating both artistic creativity and transversal learning.

The objectives of this kit are:

To foster pupils’ ability to design and construct geometric shapes, enabling them to visualise and manipulate structures in three dimensions.

To develop spatial skills to better understand space and shapes, improving their ability to work with geometric structures.

Encourage teamwork by promoting collaboration through group activities in which joint decisions are made to complete tasks.

Link learning to different areas of knowledge, relating the use of geometric shapes to disciplines such as mathematics, technology, biology and geology, showing how abstract concepts can be applied to concrete problems.
