This online program will bring together participants of three architecture and design festivals that explore the potential of architecture and design as civic investment in locations such as Chicago, Columbus, Indiana, and Logroño, Spain.

Future Firm, Exhibit Columbus
VAPAA Colective, Concéntrico
Miami-based Germane Barnes and Boulder-based Shawhin Roudbari will discuss their work for the 2021 Chicago Architecture Biennial; Chicago-based Future Firm will share their work for the 2020-21 edition of Exhibit Columbus; and Helsinki-based VAPAA Collective will discuss their intervention as part of the seventh edition of Concéntrico.
The teams will share their work and their approach to community, public space, and the environment. The event will also include remarks by representatives of the Chicago Architecture Biennial, Exhibit Columbus, and Concéntrico.

MAS Context is Chicago-based nonprofit organization founded in 2009. The organization explores issues that affect the urban context through publications, events, installations, and other public engagements. MAS Context commissions and shares relevant ideas, proposals, and experiences that connect diverse disciplines and place.
