PUL Urban Swimming Pool of Logroño by meii estudio, Clara Torregrosa and Gabriel Millán
PUL, the new Urban Swimming Pool in Logroño. Unlike other pools, PUL is versatile, where the rules are not written and what is sought is spontaneity and free appropriation of its interior space. The installation aims to enclose a piece of square to create a new soft public space inside it, a comfortable space for leisure and care.
Silk pavilion by Paloma Cañizares
The Silk Pavilion is the first project on reinforced fabrics, an investigation into the structural possibilities of textiles. If we understand the structure of the fabric as the reinforcement of a slab, stiffen it and fold it, we can achieve a self-supporting surface of extraordinary slenderness and lightness. If this element is shaped in a mould, we would achieve a modular prefabricated element that is both structure and enclosure at the same time, with a simple and highly versatile assembly system.
