The project 100 chairs and 3 Urban Lounges is a proposal that arises from a new alliance between the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation, Izaskun Chinchilla and Concéntrico. An open process that we have been developing since December 2021 together with its author, Izaskun Chinchilla, and that we now enjoy in the boulevard of Avenida de la Paz, in front of the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
WORKSHOP TALKING WITH JANE – Exploring together the areas of Logroño where we could reduce the presence of the car.
This workshop-walk guided, but also willing to listen to its participants, goes through Logroño, but above all its memory, the experiences of the citizens in its different corners, the lives of so many people who give meaning to the scenarios of its streets and squares. Named Jane’s walks, in homage to the great urban planner Jane Jacobs, who insisted that it was the point of view, the knowledge and experiences of the citizens that should guide the future and the life of our city.
POSSIBLE LOW EMISSION AREAS WORKSHOP – Deliberative workshop on possible Low Emission Zones in the city of Logroño.
This deliberative workshop will allow participants to understand and discuss the Low Emission Zone in Logroño, and what consequences its implementation may have. In the light of the information provided in the workshop and the conversation held, we will collect the criteria that the participating citizens consider a priority for the implementation of the LEZ. The main points of this informed conversation, and its final considerations, will be made available to all the citizens of Logroño to promote a wider citizen conversation.

Izaskun Chinchilla Architects
Architecture studio based in Madrid and London. It brings together an interdisciplinary team in fields such as sociology, landscape architecture, institutional communication, ecology, art curatorship and place making. Their work, published and internationally distinguished, includes pioneering projects in circular economy and citizen engagement such as the Organic Growth Pavilion in NY. It is an expert team in the drafting of projects that address a comprehensive sustainability strategy, coordinating aspects such as the choice of minimum impact materials, the implementation of passive climate control measures, clean energy management, cradle-to-cradle strategies and the application of circular economy principles.
Izaskun Chinchilla. Professor of Architectural Practice at the Bartlett School of Architecture, Honor International Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects, she has been running her own practice since 2001. She has extensive experience in research, education and citizen engagement processes. Her doctoral thesis ‘The Structure of the Ecological Revolution in Architecture’ was Magna Cum Laude at ETSAM in 2016. In 2014 she was appointed Public Engagement Fellow by the University College of London and received specific multidisciplinary training to participate in citizen engagement projects.
