Concéntrico 07 continues in Madrid with the itinerancy of three of its interventions – Pabellón Concéntrico by sauermartins and Manuricio Méndez, La contemplación de un límite by Chavarri estudio, and Circum by P + S estudio de arquitectura – to the Paseo de la Castellana thanks to the involvement of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda.

The inauguration will take place this Friday 17 September at 12 noon in the gardens of Nuevos Ministerios, and will be installed until 31 October 2021. This exhibition in Madrid, which we started in the last edition, allows the festival to deepen its reflection on cities and urban environments, establishing new dialogues with the context of the gardens in the Arquerías in Nuevos Ministerios.

Concéntrico Pavilion – sauermartins + Mauricio Méndez (Brazil – Bolivia). The pavilion, as a landmark of the festival, recognises the space and proposes an intervention related to this specific context. Its geometric forms are two pieces that complement each other: a bar and a circle.

The contemplation of a limit – Chavarri estudio (Chile) What can we do to make an abstract limit thicker? By giving meaning, by providing the space with equipment that allows us to take into account the environment and its conditions.

Circum – P + S estudio de arquitectura (Spain). The intervention proposes a nomadic system, capable of reconfiguring itself in different territories. A module configured from the constructive honesty, exposing the physical mechanics that allows its construction.
