Sounds of Architecture Records is a vinyl record label devoted to spreading ideas and voices connected to the built environment, through conversations on architecture and sonic portraits of cities. Its proposal for Concéntrico unfolds in two gestures: a recording and a public action.
On the one hand, the label sets out to produce a vinyl record dedicated to Logroño and to the context of the festival. From recordings of voices, stories and the city’s soundscapes —and of Concéntrico’s own interventions—, the project builds a sensitive, collective portrait of the place. The vinyl format, and the ritual of listening it entails, invites people to pause and attend to the voices, sounds and memories that shape urban identity beyond architecture.
On the other, on 20 June 2026 Marie-Hélène Fabre and Didier Fiúza Faustino lead a Listening Session that immerses the audience in the spirit of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. For twenty minutes, a curated selection of tracks from their vinyl explores the city’s soundscape: from the lapping of the sea to the deafening roar of diesel-powered generators, the recounting of a nightmare start to the day or the mental landscape of an architect.
One by one, like the pieces of a puzzle, the sounds build a sensitive portrait of a fragile city. At the end of the session, each participant leaves with their head full of sounds and atmospheric memories that bring Beirut to life in their heart and make them feel closer to it. Listening thus becomes a way of inhabiting and understanding the city.

An evening of listening, recording and live music.
Marie-Hélène Fabre and Didier Fiúza Faustino, founders of the Sounds of Architecture record label, present a listening session dedicated to Beirut through a curated selection of sound pieces shaped by the city and its atmospheres. Throughout the session, the audience will move through different acoustic landscapes that compose a sensitive portrait of Beirut: from the sound of the sea to the constant noise of diesel generators, everyday narratives, urban memories, and fragments linked to the experience of inhabiting the city.
The event will continue with a live recorded conversation together with AAU Anastas and other participants of Concéntrico, addressing questions related to public space, the role of architecture, and the capacity of ephemeral interventions to transform the contemporary city. This recording will become part of the vinyl dedicated to Concéntrico 2026.
The evening will conclude with a public DJ session.
