Summer School — Ephemeral Agents

Concéntrico × Distigmo Summer School — Ephemeral Agents brings together architects, designers, researchers, and international participants in Logroño around an intensive programme of work, reflection, and experimentation directly connected to the festival and the city.

Developed as part of Ephemeral Agents, a research and learning framework focused on temporary architecture as a tool for spatial agency and urban transformation, the programme proposes the public space as an active environment in which to test new forms of intervention, observation, and collective production.

Over the course of five days, the Summer School is structured around an ongoing workshop led by grillovasiu, alongside a series of lectures, walks, and public activities developed with invited international practices including Gregory Tsanillas, DU Studio, PAV Living Room, Terebinth, and Pedro Rossi. The programme unfolds through processes of construction, drawing, conversation, and direct exploration of the installations, urban situations, and everyday dynamics of Logroño during Concéntrico 2026.

More than a conventional summer school, the programme operates as a temporary laboratory embedded within the real context of the festival: a shared space to investigate how small spatial actions can alter the perception of the city, activate forms of encounter, and open new relationships between bodies, architectures, and public space.
