Concéntrico 2026

Logroño
Concéntrico 2026 activities expand the festival as a space for gathering, learning and collective participation in the city. Workshops, music, theatre, conversations and public actions will activate the interventions through social, cultural and inclusive perspectives, in collaboration with local organisations and communities that work throughout the year in Logroño. All activities are open to diverse audiences. Schedules and specific access or participation requirements are detailed in the information for each activity.

10:00 Opening of Concéntrico 2026
Opening event of the twelfth edition of Concéntrico with institutional representatives, participants and collaborating organisations. The event will be followed by a guided tour of the festival interventions with the project authors. (Approximate duration: 3 hours)

11:00–14:00 Rethinking the Game
Multiform rethinks sport and play through an inclusive perspective. Developed by Gabriel Fontana in collaboration with curator Amanda Pinatih, local schools will present the games developed together with students and take part in a Multiform match.

18:00 Collective Percussion
The Percussion Group of the Eliseo Pinedo Professional Conservatory of Music activates A Soft Embassy, the intervention by DFDC, through a sound action open to gathering and collective participation.

18:00 Disability and Urban Design
Public workshop led by Ignacio G. Galán, Ozaeta Fidalgo Architects and Jordan Whitewood-Neal, with the support of CERMI La Rioja. Starting from Plaza Diversidad, the activity will include a collective walk and mapping exercise focused on urban experiences, followed by an open assembly to share and discuss alternative ways of imagining the city.

Participatory session with Sahra Hersi to activate a collective garden connected to urban biodiversity, environmental care and social gathering, in collaboration with Biblioteca Rafael Azcona.

Conversation with the authors about Terroir, a proposal built with rammed earth and reused barrels that explores the relationship between architecture, climate and wine-growing landscapes.

Public presentation of the Summer School Concéntrico × Distigmo programme. A gathering with participants and invited teams to share the methodologies and processes that will activate the city throughout the festival.

11:00–14:00 Rethinking the Game
Multiform rethinks sport and play through an inclusive perspective. Developed by Gabriel Fontana in collaboration with curator Amanda Pinatih, the programme proposes a team game with transformable uniforms and changing rules that invite participants to explore different forms of coexistence and collective participation in public space.

12:30 One Hundred Party
Celebration of the end of the academic year and the centenary of ESDIR in dialogue with Concéntrico. An intervention developed together with the Packaging Master’s programme and the Ephemeral Architecture course, transforming the school staircase into a shared space for exhibition, gathering and collective action.

19:30 Rádio Jardim
Rádio Jardim presents a live listening and broadcasting session from the intervention by Taelon 7, exploring sound as a tool to activate public space and generate moments of collective gathering. Developed in Porto, the project understands radio as a curatorial and social practice connecting music, archives and community through mobile and open formats.

21:00 Vienna Design Week Anniversary Tour — Feral Feast
Culinary action created by Gaja Pegan Nahtigal and Liza Sočan for the final stop of the Vienna Design Week Anniversary Tour at Concéntrico. A collective experience bringing together design, food, ecology and material culture through local ingredients, ceramics and Slovenian cuisine.

21:30 One Third of Life
Participatory overnight session inside the pavilion. A guided journey through planted thematic rooms, followed by a planting ritual, night tea and collective rest accompanied by a lullaby. At sunrise, participants will share their dreams through a drawing workshop and open conversation.

Collective gathering and wine tasting organised together with The Stressed Yeast Society around wine, conversation and forms of coexistence in the city.

Listening session, live conversation and DJ set with Marie-Hélène Fabre, Didier Fiúza Faustino and AAU Anastas, exploring the soundscape of Beirut and the role of architecture in contemporary public space.
